I specialize in working with new parents who are struggling either during or after pregnancy with Perinatal or Postpartum Depression, Anxiety or Posttraumatic Stress.

Being pregnant and having a new baby can be a very fun and exciting life phase; however, many people underestimate the frequency that parents struggle with depression or anxiety during these times.

Treating Issues 

Perinatal Anxiety and Depression

Postpartum anxiety disorders  symptoms can include the following: panic attacks, hyperventilation, excessive worry, restless sleep, and repeated thoughts or images of frightening things happening to the baby.

Birth Trauma

Birth trauma refers to the emotional and psychological injury experienced during or after childbirth. There is often a great deal of loss connected to these experiences. 

Pregnancy Loss or Infertility 

No one should have to say goodbye to their beloved baby. No one. Grief is not a process of forgetting, it is a process of remembering. Together we will walk through the path to healing that is personalize for you. 

Perinatal OCD

Perinatal OCD consists of a cycle of obsessions and compulsions (repetitive behaviors or thoughts that a person uses to try to get rid or alleviate the anxiety caused by the obsessive thought. With perinatal OCD, these obsessions and compulsions tend to focus on the unborn or newborn baby.
